I remember when this first was released,and a young Diane Sawyer interviewed John on GMA.After showing this video,her reaction was "WOAH!!" John had a little suppressed bashful smile as he glanced at her sideways,then,burst out laughing.RIP John,there will never be another pure,perfect voice to match you.

@sexylasvegaslady, Denver was gallant. He avoided character scandals. The wholesome nature of his reputation mattered to him. Considering how he was a teenager in the 50s and early 60s, the man had a certain dashing quality that many these days see as old fashioned, which is simply so tragic.

I simply never understood why our society had to evolve to the point where many fellows idolize thugs and other men who are simply rude and tasteless, which is basically how you described things, too.

Many Denver fans feel he was at his very best in the 80s while doing his final LPs for RCA. It is too bad it came to an end too soon.
