It is, yeah. A lot of the conventional wisdom about "strong grip for hook, weak for fade," and about a thousand other things like that...it's all oversimplistic, because it depends on too many other factors.

Great swing...true swinging motion. Most amateurs wouldn't believe how much power they'd get out of a true swing, rather than the shoving-hitting-bludgeoning motion that's coming into vogue during the Overinstructed Era of golf.
By the way, don't let the ball's initial leftward direction fool you; Couples doesn't draw it, he fades it, particularly with the long clubs.
