Cantata da Pasquini Paoletta circa 1980
About 30 years ago, on a very simple tapedeck I made a recording of a song in Roman dialect, performed by Paoletta, a niece of my wife. She was here in Holland on vacation and we all noticed that she could sing and play the guitar very well. The tape was lost for a long time but eventually it was found somewhere at my daughters house. With the aid of Audicity, Google and Moviemaker finally this clip was born.
Have fun!
Hi dad, from the daughter you love so much, but who managed to keep the 'famous' Paoletta tape hidden for over ten years...
I really really love the way you shared this intimate family moment with the rest of the world.
About the song: when i was studying Italian (and Roman slang) I was fascinated by this particular song. Some time ago Paola wrote the lyrics down for me. I was exited to be able to understand every word. The song is sad an funny at the same time. Great job, thanks dad!
