Great setup ,you may need to add more blades to your windmill ,this will catch more air and increase your power output.

Just wondering how the solar panels are working out and if you got any more.

keep up the good work, p s its turbine, not turban, turbans are what indians wear on their heads, sorry

@centervilletn Check out massouri wind and solar .. It looks like one of their wind mills..

@qsk2pc602 that is a car alt. casing is it?...it sure looks like a gm/delco alt....

@centervilletn the armature has been replaced so you make power at low rpms. yes a car run say 800 rpms and make good power then you have deal the pullys are spinning the alt real fast. what 5 to 1.

love it !!!looks like you have plenty of towers( trees) i see were folks have them low just over the roof to use the concentrated air flow at the peek. then you have hear it buzz because there are hooked to the house.looking forward to your first windy day.gonna do this too.
Hey Rich, great video - and congrats on your experiments. I'm just dabbling with solar myself - can I ask: do you have all this stuff, your 24v wind, 12v PV, all on the same alternator? Or just the PV? How'd you get all your voltages together to run back to your grid? - curious about your intergration there I guess.
