An interesting take on an old classic. I appreciate that Mick tried to recreate a little of the original's sound and fury by using Fergie, but there is only one Merry Clayton and Fergie can't hold a candle to her.

Its a easy bet to say Mick was wondering how he ever let himself get talked into doing this great song with people who no matter how hard they tried could NEVER come close to the greatness of the Rolling Stonesl Not to mention poor Fergie, WTF was she thinking trying to sing like Lisa Fisher? Not on her best day x's a thousand! Obvious how Mick felt about the performance by the length of time it took him to get off the stage.

@Bobplawyer I disagree. I think that the simmering calm U2 creates lends even more credence to the explosiveness of Mick Jagger's presence, AND come on, who knew Fergie could have pulled off her part so well. They both have great on stage chemistry. You have to admit it's a great moment in Rock 'n' Roll.
That said, of course you can't touch the original version, but this is a magic moment nonetheless.
