"The Budget Crisis" (UNCUT) : Chewing the Fat with Gov. Chris Christie (LONG VERSION)

The ORIGINAL UNCUT version of Mark Glickstein's hilarious dead-on impression of NJ Gov. Chris Christie's budget speech. (There is a shorter version of this video on YouTube, you could probably scroll on this page to find it)
In 2010, NJ's new gov, Chris Christie, cut an unprecedented amount of money from the state's budget. Government workers across the state are up in arms on both sides of this issue. Education seems to be in a state of shock - getting hit the hardest by the cuts. Mark, a High School psychology teacher and actor, realized he looked like Christie and was getting asked to do impressions of him. With the help of his friend James, Mark made it his mission to satirize the bejesus out of this guy.
Many statistics in this are true or very close. And many lines or at least subjects are taken out of actual Christie speeches. Much of this is very real, the fat in Mark's over-sized suit jacket is fake.

What makes this funny is that this guy is trying to slam Christie as if the government is responsible for paying for everybodiy's needs and Christie has it all wrong. This guy is the one that doesn't get it...you can't spend money you don't have and when you do...somewhere down the line it's going to get real uncomfortable for a lot of people. It looks like that time has come and someone has finally had the balls to say so and not give in to all the pressure to keep turning a blind eye.

B. Clinton had a budget surplus, yes, but since he "redistributed the wealth" through social programs, the national debt continued to rise under his Presidency.

@jelly: Christie took it bc, it is apparent that he is just another conservative who believes that there are rules and ppl should follow those rules. And that those rules exist for most ppl. He follows a different set of rules, that either only applies to him or only applies to a select few; i.e., Charles Keating, Rush Limbaugh, D.C. Stevenson, etc.
