Volume one of Gennett Records famous 1924 recordings of the Chicago jazz band that introduced cornetist Bix Beiderbecke to the world. Stereophonically enhanced.

Hi, might I just add that by this time, Bix wasn't playing with the Wolverine Orchestra. The cornettist is Jimmy McPartland.

Steve, thanks for posting these. Real students of Bix want to listen to these sides to hear the earlier Bix and his collaborators and to listen for his harmonic tricks and unique improvisations. These are great recordings, so thanks for making it easy to access them.
