Los Angeles artist Alexey Steele brought time honored tradition of live portraiture into a 21st century by painting President Obama during his inaugural address via CNN live cast on a Facebook real time. The fast study in a monumental scale of 6' by 5' was done beginning to end during the speech, capturing personal sense and energy of witnessing the moment in history.

Damn man. Is anybody impressed with the hi class wood trim studio? It's like a John Howard Sanden studio. I expect to see a chandler hanging from the ceiling. Maybe it's just an illustion? I don't know.
