Who really cares how long the kid is being breastfed for? People need to set their priorities straight. It's not THAT big of a deal that she's decided to breastfeed her kid for that long, and she shouldn't stop just because society has dictated it's weird at this point. Breastfeeding is a personal decision, and no woman's choice is wrong here. It's not like theses kids are being abused or anything.

People need to back the hell off from attaching parents specially people who are not parents themselves. I believe every human being is unique and there's no need to treat everyone as clones. What works for some children doesn't work for others. As she said she have the resources to afford this parenting style. But I'm sure many people were expecting her to have her baby raised by an army of nannies and an entourage while she selfishly works in having a bikini ready body and her career.

she's a first time mother and of course all mother's do get attached. they wouldn't be loving mother's if they didn't become attached to their baby's. I think it's great that Alanis spends a lot of time with her son, it shows what a great mother she is. I will always stick up for Alanis, been a fan sense I was in 6th grade and i'm now 25 going on 26 in October. no matter what choices she makes, that i may not agree with. I will always Love Alanis and be her fan <3

I believe it truly is the mother's choice when it comes to how long she breastfeeds. Something that a woman's body was designed to do is not: a) anyone else's business, nor b) something to be criticized. I think it's wonderful that Alanis prefers to use what resources & privileges she has towards spending her time with/caring for her child rather than dumping him off on 10 nannies while she gets her body shape & tan back!!! Something that many female stars might want to rethink! Go Alanis!

Alanis is a gorgeous human being in all ways and wise beyond lifetimes. She can feed me any day. I'm well over 3 years old. Love her humps, her humps. Her lovely lady lumps! :)
