Several of us "discovered" that the bass in that creek would go for anything black, but as one guy said, black was not the color a "pro" would have picked for there. :^)

from where i am at vanilla and bread work the best...i caught a 17lb carp off of it so far...i think u should just try using no bobber it will work alot better being they feed off the bottom

@adamitshelanu yup, that's right, and don't bother with the cruising ones because 99% of the time they will swim right by your bait. Throw a handful or two of corn into the area where they are feeding and chuck your bait down there on the bottom of the lake and wait, and keep your drag adjusted in case there is a real big one.
