TEDxTampaBay Listen Project Musical Performance

The Listen project is an electric musical collaboration featuring Emily Roff on Jazz Vocals, Stephen Fee on Opera Vocals, Jeremey Powell on the Keys, Jon Shea on Bass, Adam Volpe on Drums, and Josh Formanek on Guitar.

The group performed original pieces composed and arranged specifically for the TEDxTampaBay 2011 event. This eclectic musical collaboration took the audience on a listening journey that symbolized the good things that come from sharpening ones ears... for the family, the community, and for the world...'Listen.'"

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxTampaBay, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxTampaBay event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
