They are defiant little things, we had two cats , orage ones and one of the kittens when first meeting the mal walked right up to him swiped him in the nose as to say don't even try it! LOL!

You know they weren't raied together and my brother in law said that the mal would surely kill the dog but I knew that the mal was intelligent and had enough love for a new friend;), they actually became friends during the mal's later years in life, so it is safe!

that is exactly what my mali does him nd our 3 cats allways play fight its funny coz we have a orange cat aswell and our mali fights with him all the time

Our family members were skeptical that bringing a kitten into the home would cause instantaneous death by the jaws of Onuk, our Mal but actually, it was the opposite! At first the kitten started hissing and taking defense but after leaving them in the kitchen together (their favorite room) they became best buds. the Mal was a full adult when the kitten was brought in. You should be fine as long as the Mal gets just as much attention as the cat. Our Mal passed away shortly after this one.

yeah because the Mal could eat/hurt that cat if he/she wanted to! beautiful dog!! were they raised up together? in the future i plan to raise a mal pup and kitten together!
