@rapfan050 If you were to you were to use some adhesion promoter or scuffed the surface it probably would not have chipped

@norcalniner also if you didn't use plastic bonding paint you'd have to prime it for it to stay on..

Awesome mask next time take off the strap though it stretches it out and makes it uncomfortable most of the time

Oops nevermind... Didnt get all the way through the video before i posted the last one... My mistake... But awesome outcome. I might buy one that already has a green base and do Wood Digi Camo. Thanks for the vid help

@BGSAirSoft I think buying a mask with the already desired base color is a good idea if you can. After some heavy use, I've noticed some chipping occurring.

@norcalniner if chipping occured, would there be some sort of sealent you could've used to prevent it?

@rapfan050 Not that I know of unfortunately. I believe the chipping is going to be dependent on a few things. 1) flexibility of the mask. A real flexible mask will (I assume) chip more 2) The thickness of the paint applied 3) the amount of times you use the mask.

I don't see why it wouldn't. I opted to go with a base coat meant for plastic because I hoped it would stay on better. all the other layers could be whatever. I haven't had an issue with mine yet
