@MiszczBetonmen; @TheMitzjob I didn't know this; fascinating information, since i'm a big Peter Gabriel fan, and knowing his music it's no surprise at all that Peter Hammill is a great influence. However, whilst both are geniuses imo, Peter Gabriel has sold out somewhat to pursue the commercial hits, and thus Peter Hammill's songs probably resonate with me the most.

@PASJONAT51 Thanks for the info. Great performance, i have the album. This song has insinuated itself into my brain, and the lyrics haunt me. Only an artistic genius can achieve this: to resonate so deeply with something deep within one's own psyche.

Wonderful! Wonderful! I will never be bored of listening to this song! I think that this version and the one from Peter Hammil's "Skeletons of Songs" are the best!

@ColouredDarkness My favorite version of Still Life is on bootleg " There's a church with no roof..." A solo performance by Hammill.
