If you had told me four years ago, when I'd uploaded my very first cover of this song, and in fact my very first cover on YouTube, ever, that eventually I'd have close to 500 subscribers and God knows how many channel views, I never would have believed it.

If you'd told me that I was actually going to make it to the third round of GI, I would have been even more skeptical.

And if you'd told me that I'd eventually go on to re-record it while sprawling enticingly across my bed in a stripper dress that I randomly dug up in my closet? That I probably wouldn't have found too surprising.
