At 2:20 you say that the square wave is made out of pure DC. While I know what you mean, this isn't technically correct to say, because DC is considered only after reasonably long periods of times, most likely sub-Hz. Square wave won't integrate any voltage into a capacitor (in the long run), unless a DC component was previously added to that square wave.

Great job! I'm just starting out and just wondering how much it cost you roughly to build and how long it took?

Hey Bill, nice Vid and I LIKE THE MUSIC! haven't heard any of that in many years now. Wish they would put a station here in West Texaswith those oldies. I always studied better listeming to that when I was growing up. I have an audio signal gen and a scope both used off e-bay can I use these like that. AM OLD but new to this fasinating world of electronics. Would love to build one like you have there. Thought I bought one turned out to be AUDIO. e-mail me please cause I will never find this site

Would be a great video.if you would just turn that music off!!!!!! I want to hear about the generator not listen to that music.why why why.thanks for the videos just do it without music!!!!!
How many volts and amps (watts)does it output?

The volts is 0-5 and the current is very LOW. It is not to be used as a LOADING sources only a REFERENCE source... Thanks for the great question... Bill

I wish to have a sine/square wave oscillator which can output up to aprox: 12v, 5amps. Do you have any recommendations?

Any function generator like this driving a BIG AUDIO AMP will work fine. Just take the output of this and put in on the INPUT to a POWER AMP (assuming it is in audio frequencies) and then the output will be pretty large. A 60 WATT POWER AMP will probably work. Unless I really don't understand your application. Or roll your own... Just amplify the output from the FUNCTION generator to get the AMPLIFIED signal you want... Bill

hi would you be willing to try 42712.2hertz and with an amp and transducer project it into water..for more insight please lookup john worrel keely you will definitely understand then ,if you did not already thank you melvin

In fact I AM VERY FAMILIAR with Keely and his ethereal experiments and inventions. I have read extensively of him about a year ago and have 3 books on his inventions and pictures of machines that can't be explained. He worked with tuning forks and HI FREQ waves. I continue to study Keely. HE WAS VERY SECRETIVE!!! I don't think he was a fake at all but rather VERY REAL and WELL beyond his era. I'll look into your 42712.2 HZ signal and water and ETHER... Thanks for the comments! Be Well.. Bill
