This must've been in the Sixties but in the later Sixties since there is a Snorkel unit laying a stream. Volunteer firefighters are heroes though while awaiting the call they put their pants on the same as you or I. To enjoy the "high" of helping people and taking part in the challenge is to many enough payment.

Look at the firefighters at 1:52 standing in front of a freestanding brick storefront... pretty damn lucky that thing didn't fall.

Thank you very much for posting this piece of local history. I live in Hilton,NY and know the fine gentlemen in the video... Heroes all 3. It was a terrible disaster indeed - but God saw fit to send us plenty of angels that day !!
