Sometimes interviewing someone for the second time can be even more nerve-wracking than the first. I'd already had a chat with J Spaceman, the nice, if unintentionally intimidating Spiritualized frontman a few months before in an empty bar in London. Back then when I asked him uncomfortable questions about his hell-raising days and drug intake in Spacemen 3, he would politely feign memory loss and grin apologetically.

This time round I met up with him in his dressing room at Koko in Camden ahead of Spirtualized's eerily brilliant live show. I was pretty much crapping my pants, anticipating awkward silences between us captured on film, but thankfully the reality was way less scary.
