Waxhead12000 - That's your big research to prove your point? A google search to a CNN story? "Various health insurance industries?" That's like saying various auto industries. There is only one insurance industry. You really don't know what you are talking about do you? If you think health carriers sell Medical and Rx insurance and make a mere 4% profit you are very foolish. Please make additional comments they make my laugh.

Did someone shake the stupid tree? Do a google search for "most profitable industries". The first link you come to should be one by CNN entitled Fortune 500 Top performers. Here you will find the profit margins of various health insurance industries, all at 4% or below. My work is done here, if you morons are detemined to remain morons, feel free.

Waxhead12000 - No, not at all. Just trying to educate you on how to read a report and what the numbers really mean. Most all of the comments here have merit. It was your claim of a completely laughable profit percentage that first caught my eye. Once again you are referring to the "industry" and trying to draw a conclusion for health insurance only. You are funny with your "just read the AP report..." And then trying to dismiss someone with "run along son" tactic. Very weak attempt.

Has anyone else researched the history of this issue? Big gov. overstepping its bounds to fix what wasn't broken caused the problem, doing it again will only make it worse.
