That really was a classic game for the BBC Micro. The Beeb had a pretty robust keyboard, but that game ruined them!

The carpet sweep and initial unit message are like the arcade game.That was a very nice touch The guys that made this version must have loved Defender.

Oh yeah I forgot to say that the thing that really sucked on this version was the sound of the "mutant" attack. The firing was not bad!

They couldn't get the sound very good on that version. Much better were a later Amiga clone and also "Last of the Free" released as freeware for PC which was much truer to the original.
