So this is me taking a phone call from a fraudulent "warranty" company trying to sell extended warranty coverage for my car. They called telling me my warranty was up on my car. The thing is, they don't know what kind of car I have, nor do they know what kind of warranty coverage I have. To top it all off, they won't let me contact them if I have future questions. Sooooooo legitimate. More videos to come.

  • @clseea. It would be a scam if after you bought the policy they didn't pay any claims or closed up shop and you lose all you money. I don't work for the company that this call was made from but I do know who the company is. Again it's high pressure sales. If you actually remember the calls it said that "your factory warranty may have expired". I do agree that the auto dialer was completely uncalled for and is the sole reason of the bad stigma that the service contract industry has right

  • @ponder1106

How is it not a scam? Their auto dialer dials random numbers with a pre-recorded message saying "Your warranty is expired". When you actually talk to someone they then say "What kind of car do you have?" How can they say my warranty is going to expire if they don't know what kind of car I have? The blatant lack of logic and completely sophomoric approach oozes scam.

  • I've been getting calls from American Auto Sheild, for the past 5 months, and they don't take no for an answer. Now i know their number when it comes up on my cell phone, i just don't answer.

  • service departments need to stay in business to man, just because Pontiac is gone,,,,,,doesn't mean there are not spare parts out there. and they will fix the car...whether you pay for it or not. anyway i work for a waranty company and we do it right, we are a broker, like geico, we look at your options and give ou the best one...thats it, lets not make the whole industry look bad....A
