Classical American pianist Christopher O'Riley has been interpreting a number of contemporary artists music. In particular Radiohead. This is 'Subterranean Homesick Alien' a song found off of Radiohead's album 'OK computer' considered to be one of the greatest albums ever recorded.

  • Fantastic, I hope Radiohead hears this.

  • Great video and the separate interview is great too. But the song is called Subterranean Homesick Alien.

"The internet was not created for the purpose of trying to sell us (the users) shit."

That may not be the purpose of the internet, but it is actually the central driving force of most websites via ad revenue.

  • wow this guy can play!

  • This is one of my favorite songs of all time. This cover does it justice.

  • @whacksteez Few words buddy: firefox and adblock plus. Haven't had obnoxious ads I didn't ask for interupting my viewing telling me I'm inadequate 'cos I'm not buying some shite that has nout to do with the video I'm watching since i installed them. So if you haven't already, I'd recommend getting them.;)

  • @ClumsyRoot yeah seriously i thought i had a new band to listen to until he started singing that god awful ballad then i realized it was muse again

  • I wonder if he can do anything with Lady Gaga's and Justin Bieber's music?

  • where is his version of BULLETPROOF? I cant find it anywhere?? All the other radiohead covers seem to be on here?

  • beautiful cover, very well done. just with his facial expressions alone you can tell he's truly enjoying himself to be covering radiohead's best works.

  • Dear Youtube,

Your advertisements are offensive. The internet was not created for the purpose of trying to sell us (the users) shit. Please understand that while we are moving further towards a digital existence the needs and desires of corporations (making money) are substantially out of line with the people of this Earth (exchanging information, art, and in this particular case beautiful music).

    Thanks.

  • I digg his interpretation of this piece, though at times I felt his tone was a bit off from the conventional way this song is played. Still, props to O'Riley for doing a 'radiohead' and playing this song the way he wanted to. . .
