This video tests the Fly by Wire safety features in the Wilco Airbus A320. I just purchase this model, to replace the Overland Airbus aircraft I was using. I had intended to wait for the AirlinersXP model which looked very good, but apparently I'll be waiting til FSXX for that one. :LOL

This is also my first HD video!!

  • the overland is easier and simpler to fly but its not realistic. the wilco airbus series is much more realistic and i have been using them ever since. i never use default a321 anymore.

  • can u tell me the site from where u got this wilco airbus a320

  • Why does the aircraft loose so much altitude when turning? Is this supposed to happen with a fly-by-wire system?

  • @tf51d it actully does effect m8te you lose fuel etc

  • pls help me i have the wilco airbus series vol 1 and 2 but i cant controll them with the joystick... it seems like blocked

  • hay bastantes turbulencias ;)

  • @tf51d Hey Nice Video, What Do I Press To Turn the NAV ON?

  • @spencer55r That's right, the FBW system should trim the aircraft itself automatically. So whatever pitch angle you set it should be maintained, even if there is a change in airspeed without manually re-trimming. The only exception is of course if you violate the safety laws like what is shown in this video.

  • @airman193 Actually, the Fly By Wire system does not change the performance of the plane, your thinking of the Flight envelope or the computer. The FBW just replaces hydraulics with electrical wires. It makes the plane lighter, therefore more fuel-efficient. The Flight envelope restricts the pilot from doing anything wrong.

  • You can't steer the planes with the keys right?
