Ape Escape 3 (UK) Pt 23: Tomuki City 3 + Tomuki Battle

The next part of my playthrough for Ape Escape 3 takes us through to the completion of the Tomuki City stage and a HUGE revelation from the man himself. Simple as that, I guess...?

@flaresonicofdoom Not really. In the original Japanese version, he was known as Dr. Tomouki, which makes the "o" vowel extend itself a little more like a "u" in a Yorkshire accent. So I think the UK localisation team meant well :)

By the way, non-monkey boss fights were common in Ape Escape 1- in which you fought a Knight, a Flying Armored Craft and the Goliath Armor (Specter's Robot).

I'm aware of the huge mecha involved in Ape Escape 1, though most of these had monkeys involved in either its operation or its creation. It's still a rarity to see monkeys not being used directly as bosses either way.

Frankly, in the case of Tomuki's beam attack, I totally prefer "Beam-o-Magnifico" to "Luxury Beam".

Actually, he just misread the script. It's supposed to be like "I mean, we don't stand a chance!" but he said the two parts of the sentence separately.
