While I do not necessarily trust this particular reporter, the fact that a person can wear a suit, comb their hair, and speak with a standard American accent should have little bearing on whether they are considered trustworthy. Defense attorneys routinely dress up murderers and rapists to make them look presentable in court. This is easy. What is hard is hiding their history.
