that was amazing defense, gotta admit. against a 7 foot athletic strong center like dwight howard, he blocked, played good on ball defense and made d howard turnover almost 4 times. and hes only in his rookie year, is 3-4 years, he will become a dominant force, but not like dwight of course, cousins will block more shots, make more shots, get more minutes and play great defense, and finally get out of that terrible excuse for a team and show his real talent!

@lasoogneypubes Just like in determining other awards, stats only tell half the story. John Wall may have been better at UK nut not in the L. Cousins already won the Summer League MVP while Wall was being benched and it takes longer for big men to develop then guards. By merit, it should have gone to Cousins, regardless of media bias.

@cowdust51 John Wall definitely would have won it if it weren't for Blake Griffin. Even if you didn't want him to. He was the media's definite second choice. I personally think that Wall deserved to win it over Cousins if that were the case. His stats were better.

That last play wasn't defense on Howard. Cousins was lucky someone came to help him. Howard catching the ball under the basket = dunk
