  • low range gear reduction and rear differential lock is standard on all Cayennes. The front and and center diff. lock is an option and but not very common.

  • LOL you got stuck in that little bit of dust? and you call yourself a 4x4? LOL what a complete fucking joke - go back to the pavement where you belong pussy made porsche.

  • Cayenne is as good as BMW X6 off road. ahahah

  • @LhurzTheMad a cayenne is just as good if not better than any stock suv out there

  • @Soulshreder Welcome to the party. It's a great vehicle and glad to hear you are using it as intended - slogging through the messy stuff. Thought we had settled the diff lock issue 6 months ago, exon112 has it exactly right. Center lock and gear reduction are standard. Rear was an option with the Advanced Offroad Technology Package. Front lock was not offered. All of this is for the original design - not sure about the 2011 redesign.

  • Those high performance stock tires suck big time in anything else than asphalt.

    BUT...

The cayenne is extremely good at off road.

All it needs are proper off road tires.

I have been with my cayenne turbo through some unbelievable harsh terrain, with BFG AT 265/65/R18.

I can go almost everywhere my brother`s G55 AMG, except a little slower.

Also, a cousin of mine has a Range Rover Sport 5.0 supercharged, and I go everywhere he goes off road, but on the road I beat the crap out of his car.

  • @plhaar1

    You are wrong

Low range, rear and center differential lock are standard on all Cayenne`s.

    Optional is the air suspensions.

I know this, since I have a Cayenne Turbo.

  • Still, Landy is Landy, others are just pretty imitations.

Toyota, Jeep, Land Rover are the real thing.

  • @LhurzTheMad Actually, the Cayanne is very good off road! The problem must me the tire or probably, the driver. If u look on your right, theres a video of a Range Rover with a similar problem. Get your facts straight, boy.

  • Ridiculous! Triing to do the Land Rover's job with a little toy like that crap? Get lost...

Buy a real vehicle, buy a Land Rover man!

  • AWD cars may be able to go off-road, but you need the right tyres first. I think the Cayenne looks really good but really... even with road tyres cannot get over that. Maybe a trip to a Land Rover dealer is in order?! I do like Cayennes though.
