Yes control arm isb the best for that type of car. The purple one are rated at 5200 pounds craddled. The yellow one are 16,800. I use them alot through the rims for side pull recoveries. Always lift and pull.
The strap you have on the front, what do you fasten that to? A arm, sub frame or wheel? I run a towing business in the midwest but haven't ever used those types of straps. Cool idea.
@triplextreme2 I was a really nice day yesterday and the traffic on the Hwy 1 Stinson beach exit backed up and then stopped on the freeway. He was taking the exit as he lives near there and didn't see the sudden traffic coming to a stop and he swerved right and down the hill he went right into a raised man hole. It hit so hard the man hold cover was stuck into the axle and control arm. As you could see I had to raise it off using the seat belt on the passenger side. Thanks for W
