I've been a lover of Farley's writing since I first read a piece from "The Boat Who Wouldn't Float" in a school exam here in Scotland over 40 years ago. Subsequently I read the whole book, and many others. Talking of others, I was given a copy of his latest book "Otherwise" this year, and it too is a great read. I was extremely moved by his books on the people of the deer, and Farley is a writer who pulls no puncches.
Great man, very good interview. Best wishes to you Farley.
wow he looks so healthy in this video... he was born in 1921... he is almost 90 years old! I've seen men in their 50s who look older than him. Way to go Farley! Canada Loves you!
Farley is truly one of the most important Canadians. I am currently reading his latest memoir,'Otherwise', and enjoying it very much. Farley is inspirational.
