These Public Service Announcements were created as part of Pacific Cinematheque's Digital Conversations youth workshop during National Media Education Week 2009.

Three groups of youth were given the same 30 minutes footage from the Sudan (courtesy of Take 2, Inc.) and given parameters for their PSAs: a fictional charitable organization, a target audience, and an objective in motivating their viewers.

Youth engaged in conversation about social justice, media messaging, and their own provided and personal biases which become observable in video production.

These videos are the resulting work by youth from: Lord Byng Secondary, Vancouver; Burnsview Secondary, Delta; and Fraser Heights Secondary, Surrey.
