@yngvarbloodaxe Glad to hear that! All the best my friend!

A few months ago I was actually encouraged to use openbox on my Arch box by this video. Thanks. : )

@adam9575 Hi! I used xvidcap, but I think there are more performant softwares out there! The codec is mpeg4, the container is an .mpeg. (I'm not really into the video stuff, I hope not to have written nonsense!)

great job! I use arch/gnome. and I installed openbox but it did not work. can you send me a link that shows how to install and configure openbox?
@ibrahimalghamdi94 Hi! Notice that Openbox is a Window Manager, it manages ONLY your windows and decorations, nothing else! You can use it stand-alone or inside a Desktop Manager such as Gnome or KDE, in any case look for Openbox in the Archlinux Wiki, it's a big page with every kind of information you may need, from installation to fine tuning! Let me know my friend!
@TheCellarGuardian
Could you tell me how you themed your man pages etc, do you have a config file i could have?
thanks.
@adam9575 Sure, for the prompt and the man pages open the page with all the comments on my video and search for ".bashrc", it's a sequence of 4 comments written 5 months ago, or take a look here (URL follows) wiki archlinux org / index php / General_Recommendations # Man_pages

Thanks dude, i could not use sound with xvid cap, has not been compiled in the latest binary is the message i get. Does your Xvidcap package support sound? if not what application did you use to overlay your audio?
@adam9575 No, it doesn't support audio recording, for my video I used the YouTUBE AudioSwap feature, you should give it a try, maybe you'll find a great song for your next video!
