This is a cool idea. It's basically like a music video for ongoing current affairs. It strips away all the need for the discursive framing (telling you the facts) by inane news anchors, and instead achieves a direct emotional connection through visual and music (or at least one that feels more direct). While the feeling of watching the news of something "way over there" is alienating, this is pretty fresh feeling. I now feel something more about this news story than before.

Wow, 3 months down there already. I hope that they get out as well. I wonder where mining falls on the list of dangerous jobs. I'm glad they are in good spirits.
