A slow scenery video in the area around Silver Creek Reservoir in Silverton, Oregon. Although not as popular as the nearby Silver Falls State Park (which is upstream from this reservoir), this small park offers some beautiful locations for hiking or biking/unicycling, and peaceful spots to set up a hammock for a nice afternoon nap. And best of all, it's about five minutes from my new house! I have a feeling a lot of my future videos will take place in this area.

You will also get a view of my Hex Tarp setup, which will hopefully have an accompanying how-to video coming soon . . .

  • Looks like beautiful country. Enjoy your new surroundings. Oh, I’ll be watching for the new PVC video…

  • @Woodenarrows

I guess I'm pretty much committed to showing my invention now!

  • look like a good spot to do winching and wakeboarding :-P

  • @micbergsma

It would probably be pretty fun, if you don't mind electric-only boats and slow speeds (they don't allow gas engines). Definitely stays quieter that way.

I had to look up winching to figure out what you were talking about. That's a new one for me!

  • Welcome back and congratulations on the new job. Another great video! Were you using your PVC fig rig?

  • @CaneMajor

Actually, I was using an invention of my own. I don't want to give too much away (I've got to make a video about it soon), but it's the only PVC design I ever use any more. In fact, because most of my stuff is still back in Utah, it's the only piece of camera equipment I brought with me. Details hopefully coming soon . . .

  • Awe-some!!!

  • Wow! What a beautiful place! And only 5 minutes from your house!

    Did you see much wildlife?

Can't wait to see your new design.

  • @PacoWarabi I've made one of your PVC TreePods and of course a PVC Camera mount. Great ideas. The Treepod also makes a great tabletop or automobile dashboard camera stand. Thanks for those ideas...

  • @PacoWarabi oh darn.... welcome to wakeboard world! :)

  • That is a great looking place ... all the mossy trees and ferns ... love it!

Looking forward to more on your new PVC rig/invention!
