I really like this Tatiana! I prefer the color of this young Stratas. as far as I know the role was written for a famous coloratura sopran by tscaikovsky, so I think Stratas is fitting perfectly here to the role instead of the full lyric voices that normally sing this role.
I am so incredibly moved and impressed by this interpretation, as well as the stage direction. Stratas is stellar, beyond all expectation. The aria itself is, of course, one of the most beautiful ever written. Such a pleasure!
Superb.

I couldn't find this film from 1967. I looked by Amazon in USA, Germany and England and also by imdb. But invain.
CBC means that "Canadian Broadcasting Corporation" or "Columbia Broadcasting Corporation"?
Is there more of this lovely and inspiring production?
Who can tell me?
And please more info about orchester and conductor. Is it the MET?
