Predictions that came true, 2001-2011, by E. Alan Meece

Portions of a lecture I gave on April 30, 2000 at South Bay Astrological society, a special meeting about the big Jupiter-Saturn conjunction of May 2000 and what it means for the following 20 years. Tony McGettigan was also speaking.

The predictions I made here about what became 9-11 and the Great Recession help document my track record as an astrologer. In 1997 I published Horoscope for the New Millennium. I plan to publish a new book called Horoscope for the New Age: 2012 and Beyond, featuring more predictions as well as the means to understand our place in history and evolution.

Also featuring comments by astrologer Graeme Jones, Cathy Cunningham and others. Cathy pointed out to me at a recent Occupy protest meeting in Oct.2011 that what I had forecast in this lecture was being demonstrated by events.

Note that according to astrology, squares (90 degree angles) and oppositions between outer planets can indicate dangerous events and crucial changes. Conjunctions are powerful indicators of the beginning of new trends and movements.

Could there be a cautionary note implied? Will the USA get entangled abroad yet again in 2012-13, in ways that could lead to war then, or at the next cycle in 2025? I shudder to think....

One minor correction to my lecture: Jupiter was exactly on the US Jupiter degree, not the solar degree, in the US horoscope on the day Bush invaded Panama. Oooh, another correction. my illustration should say Jupiter opposite Saturn, not Uranus!
