Congressman Obey meets Tina Richards

He never asked Tina's son's name. He doesn't care about anybody but himself. Also he gets upset when you ask him tough questions. This is a good example of our current Congress. They are arrogant and unwilling to listen to our concerns. Route them out in 2010.

Just checking in with another comment: is the war ended yet? No we still illegally occupy Iraq, along with the profiteering private contractors and now it looks like we're going to be there forever.

Obviously Obey didn't end the war with his resolution.
It appears Tina Richards knew what she was talking about and Obey did not.
The Dems said elect us and we'll end the war.
And now every one is voting for Obama and he's said he's going to keep 60,000 troops and all the independent contractors in.
Orwell would be impressed by this doublespeak.
Question is, why do liberals, progressives and independents keep voting for these people?

Obey is a Banking Scandal scumbag who plays politics with the lives of our troops. Why vote to fund the war when he can use that money on himself when he repeatedly overdraws his congressional account? Forget about that one, Obey? Just another greedy politician who is full of crap.

This whole thing was a set up, how the heck do you think it got on film? Including the "liberal activist" in the background who didn't know s**t about how the US House works and saying they could use a filibuster to stop the war....DOH! I like Obey, at least he knows how to use the rules of the House to stop the war and did it 30 years ago with Vietnam.
