  • So far with my Insect Armageddon, I have Battle Tier 6, Trooper Tier 5, Jet Tier 3 and Tactical Tier 2. I am mainly aiming to get Tier 8 for both Battle and Trooper, but Trooper is my favourite.

It takes FOREVER though to level up to the next Tier. i haven't even reached Tier 7 yet!!!!

I mainly just do 1-1 on Inferno without bots cause I get 20000 XP at least each go, but it takes time. And BTW Trooper is the fastest armour to revive a team mate- Top Tip there anyone who is reading this.

  • @EarthDefenceInferno It takes forever to go from 6 to 7, and especially from 7 to 8. If I'm remembering right, it takes just over 700,000 points to finish leveling up a class. And you have to do it four times. Ouch.

  • This was truly an amazing gameplay i really enjoyed your "commentary" aswell as gameplay, also i like ur style of rpg with keeping the same weapons :D

Just found ur channel so need to check out more - but this has made be subsribe and thumb up - good work soldier!

  • @ptccashmoneymaker Haha, thanks. I think I know what I'll do next, which will also include a text commentary, albeit more oriented to the game, rather than my feelings. Won't be for a little while though. (posted 2/3/2012)

  • When I was playing this one at the end i died!!!!! How did that happen! Now guess what! I have to start the whole game over! I'm sooooooo angry!!!!!

  • @knasm01 You have my utmost sympathies too. I would not start the whole game over; rather just keep it up until you achieve ultimate victory. Good luck with it.

  • @TDog14126 No, my game did not come with a manual, although you can look it up online. Yes, those are the correct controls.

As far as the commentary - as long as this video set is, I had to make it somewhat more entertaining than just watching me boringly running around shooting things. I wanted to keep peoples interest as best I could, which is why my commentary in general can get kind of random. Glad you like them overall. =)

  • I just wanted to say how helpful these vids were! I knew I gave you a hard time or two, but they are very informative and I learned many tips/tricks for when I finally start this game. Did your game come with a manual? Mine did not so I am not sure how to deploy a turrent, undeploy a turrent, switch weapons, reload, etc.. I did pause it once and think I wrote down what the buttons do. Y is interact/turrents, X is reload, B is weapon change, and A jumps, is that right? New subscriber here!

  • @MasterOssy I agree, or leave it to the movies. If a developer is insistent on placing their story in the game, tell it in the background, the way R-Type Final did, or put it on the side like with EDF:IA. It's there, but it isn't intrusive, and that's one reason why I like those two games as much as I do.

  • @Matrixandraia I think those should be more into point and click type of games like Snatcher or Policenauts where it's mostly focused on story.
