@pvx Probably was "Ha!" since that channel was a Viacom network, hence a Showtime connection. It merged with HBO's "The Comedy Channel," in 1991 to become Comedy Central. The Comedy Channel is noted for introducing the world to "Mystery Science Theater 3000." Very few cable companies had either channel though.

@kstarpictures I think I remember "The Big-Laff Off", IIRC, back in the early 90s, Comedy Central (it might of been still "Ha!" then) aired reruns of it, and I remember this logo after it (or maybe some other Crossover-ditributed comedy show on the channel), and the music freaked me out even then (The Parallelograms and Triangle of of Doom here, perhaps? :) )

Weird video game music, eh?

This logo appeared at the end of an early 80's Showtime program called "The Big Laff-Off" which was a stand-up comedy contest. Jay Leno and Eddie Murphy made some of their earliest appearances on this show.
