ive had both- a great hackintosh pc is hard to build, but its the better than the entry level macs. i got a macbook pro 2.2ghz and it work better than any hackintosh i've seen. i would get a hackintosh if your on a budget and a mac if you need one only

Use some distro. Go to leohazard (dot) com. There is a AMD compatible distro there!

You can. AMD is not as good though. It depends on which hackintosh method you use.

@assassin743 easier, but more expensive. I have a windows computer, when I bought it I thougth to use it with Windows Vista. But 2 months ago I installed leopard. I fucking love it! My pc costs 450€. Powerful like a Mac Pro, cheaper than a Mac Mini :)
