  • Steve,

Are you saying that buying protein shakes is worthless? Eating regular food is just fine?

    Thanks. Love your website.

  • @khanriza YES!!! A normal diet supplies more than enough protein. If people want to get bigger they just need to train harder and more consistently. I've made tons of guys a lot bigger just through more effective training.

  • You are inspirational mam! Thanks! You get straight down to the point!

  • @tashawnify Thanks, I'm glad my videos are helping.

  • ur video's are great, ur a vary intelligent guy when it comes to fitness , but this video is false, most u can gain in a year is about 5-10 pounds of muscle, unless taking performance enhancing drugs. this video might be posible for some one who just started working out and has a good nutritional diet but for guys that been going for awhile its pretty much impossible, i might sound like some guy who think he knows it all and i know i dont, but its common sense this is not likely

  • @IPWNBXRmash I talked about your statement / question on my 4/30/11 BlogTalk Radio show. Search Steve Turano!

  • This advice sounds absolutely horrible and factually in error. First of all, science and personal experience have shown that more protein does increase gains. Second of all, no normal person gains a pound of muscle in a week; that's absurd beyond all reckoning. Third, gaining muscle is like doing the bunny hop: you break the muscles down and take 9 steps back, then you build and repair taking 10 steps forward. Analogously, you need way more protein than what the gained muscle weighs.

  • 100 grams=1 pound?

  • @MuscleTeenFlex Approved.

  • TWIN MUSCLE WORKOUT SAID I COULD ONLY MAKE ABOUT 2 POUNDS A MONTH...

  • BUT ONE POUND ISNT 100 grams LOL

  • @calico992 Not sure if this is true because I'm not a vegan, but they say that soy protein isn't as good as animal protein.

  • @Joeyyowe I'm Vegan, and I'm huge. Vegetarian, vegan, omnivore, it doesn't matter just get your protein.

  • U guys are dumb...he said u need 100g of PROTEIN to build one pound of muslce...whats so hard on understanding that part...btw 1 pound per week isnt so unrealistic if u dont lift ur own hand....THAT DOESNT MEAN U GET THIS ONE POUND EVERY WEEK

  • A pound a week ?? Maybe a pound a month if your a teenage male with a good diet workout program and genetics
