Rachel Maddow emphasizes that policy is more important than personal views by politicians on gay rights and lists President Obama's achievements in helping to secure rights for gay Americans. Past presidents have asserted their personal friendship or sympathy for gay people while hurting them with bad policy and associating themselves with anti-gay hatemongers. From the May 9th, 2012 edition of The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC.

Actually these numbers come directly from the Federal Reserve. This isn't potential debt, these are promised government benefits. Hence: "unfunded liabilities". They cannot be paid, people better get used to the prospect of virtually no safety net.

Now. The reason wealth goes to the top 1% is because they lobby the government to give them favorable circumstances (0% taxes, grants, bail outs, etc) that others do not get. This kills competition, growth, and jobs, while expanding government.

There is an absolute scientific reason why upper echelon Republicans are getting more and more anti-gay; they are moving further away from mainstream America like a projectile in deep space. They are so out of touch with what America would like and needs they are beyond future victory on a national level.

The odd things is, the more the Conservatives rant and rave about how terrible Gay Marriage is, the more the people are in favor of it. They are the best thing that has happened to the Gay Rights movement. The nuttier they are, the more the American people see ... how nutty they are.

Keep it up, we'll have full Gay Rights within a year or two.

Equality is a part of freedom. The freedom for all to do what they want without being ostracized for it.So,equality isn't a mask for envy,it's a sign of political justice. If you can't understand that, make a time machine and go live in early to mid 1940's Germany.

NO. Freedom is given to all.

Equality masks ENVY-- the demand that someone else equalize results to your benefit.

    You see it here.

It's no surprise that is the best you can come up with. Also, equality should be given to ALL no matter what,to feel like your country doesn't hate you.Do the country a favour and go to a secluded island.

Rachel Maddow--- looks like a boy, dresses like a boy.

    I wonder why?

'Equality' masks ENVY, and the resentment of those who can't control others views.

Discrimination is the basis of freedom and the good-- this is a point the left cant bear.

    But its true.
