Sandy Lam's emotional rendition of "Hero" at "Heart Aid Shisen/Sichuan" charity concert

This charity concert was held in Tokyo, Japan on July 14, 2008. Initiated by respected Taiwanese artist Judy Ongg, the event featured over two dozen popular artists from China, Japan and South Korea, including Jackie Chan. The three hour concert helped raise over 27 million Japanese Yen for the victims of the disastrous earthquake in Sichuan, China two months prior.

This song is in one of her albums. Sandy is one of the best singers who can sing over 20 years and still can keep her voice in a such wonderful status, and she is one of the few singers can hit the high whistle pitches. @Apt192 That is because she lost her composure, crying. It does affect even the best voices when the crying takes over and you can't control your voice. She did very well being profession by still performing, but it was very obvious that she was too emotional to carry it off, not that she couldn't IF she was composed.

Give her a break, she was crying. I'm sure she'd sound a lot better if she weren't so emotional. Still it was by no means bad... Sandy is my 2nd favorite Chinese singer behind Faye Wong btw.

though this has a good intention, she pick the wrong song. Faye Wong would of pull it better, but hey everyone make mistake no matter who you are. Don't get me wrong, I love sandy, I think she is terrific but it was just the wrong song.
