Ace Combat: Assault Horizon - Capital Conquest - F-14D Super Tomcat / F-15E Strike Eagle

Much derping happens during this considerably short match, it was over far too quickly. What can I say? We were just too good. It was the fifth time I was awarded the 'Hero' MVP, so I unlocked the Gryphus call sign.

By 'derping', I was referring to my total lack of movement when I had missiles coming at my face, and also the moment I killed the HQ and subsequently crashed into it.

I was flying the Tomcat mostly to start my journey on the road to unlocking the Zipang paint scheme for it, which probably won't be unlocked until I use it about 90 or 100 times.

hey im confused on how to damage the hq and ground units. At the moment, im just killin pilots and not gainin points 4 the team. What should i b aiming for?

@KaiNLinda The number of players you kill has nothing to do with Capital Conquest objectives. You've heard the AWACS talk about the transmission base, right? Well, that's what you have to go for. Next to the blue and red bars (top left) are the number of targets either you or the enemy have to destroy before you open a window to the HQ. If you get the enemy's target number to zero, then you can attack the HQ, if your team's number is at zero, you have to destroy more targets.

@omglolwtf66 I assume the transmission base is the green arrow, which is the radio tower thing rite? So after you hit the transmission base thing, u can kill the target air or ground? Then after that i can go 4 the hq? Just wanna make sure i understand the entire concept of it. I cant see the numbers next to the bar been playin on a sd tv. Probably need 2 switch to hd tv.lol.

@KaiNLinda Basically, if you can't use ASM on the HQ, then you need to destroy all the red targets on your radar. That's the simplest way to explain it.
