Here are some tips that you can use to have better looking hair when using a flat iron.

If you have over-processed your hair and just cannot let go of the iron then what you need is to show your hair a little more TLC.

1. Make sure that you have a good flat iron. Ceramic is the best to use as it doesn't do as much damage to the hair as any old flat iron.

2. Condition, condition, condition!!!!

3. Use a good oil for your hair. I recommend coconut oil simply because it smells the best and it doesn't leave your hair feeling oily. Just make sure to not use too much. Protect your hair by applying a quarter-sized amount throughout your hair before straightening. If you find that your product leaves too much on the hair, then apply a little bit after you've straighten. But I do recommend protecting your hair with something.

4. Go slow on really small sections of hair to avoid having to go over your hair several time.

5. And if you have split ends and don't have time for a trim, then hide them by curling the ends a bit.

I hope these tips will help you achieve beautiful looking hair!

  • Great video, thanx for the info :) I would like to try that with my new flat iron, it's the Karmin Professional Titanium Flat Iron, it works pretty good, removes static and leaves my hair silky and shiny, I bought it at my hair styling tools. :)

  • thnx for the tips, are really useful, I will try that with my Karmin G3 Salon Pro which causes less damage to the hair and keeps it soft, shiny and very straight. :D

  • oh ok ...didn't know it was over a year ago . I'm sure you have gotten better and able to keep the viewer attention ...thank you for responding

  • @mulata54 If you use oil before you straighten your hair you will fry it. It's good that you don't do that anymore.

  • beyonce look xp
