In fact, this was once her old neighborhood, until something bad happened that ruined her family and their reputation. yes, in the pilot the actor was marc blucas, but then he had other committments and they had to find another actor. i was crushed, i remember marc blucas from buffy the vampire slayer, and was really looking forward to seeing him in the role of emily's father!
