On October 5, 2010, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took up the business of putting House Bill 40 - Castle Doctrine up for Third and Final Consideration. This bill has been many years in the making and, even to the end, some representatives saw fit to use every means possible to avoid a clean and full vote of the House on this important piece of legislation. This video is broken down into various parts and is being presented to allow all Pennsylvania Residents to see how their representatives don't believe you have the right to reasonable defense and liability protection in the justifiable protection of life and property. The House voted 159 to 38 in favor of House Bill 40.
How long has Rep. Evans been in the House, and he still doesn't know the parliamentary rules. How pathetic.

@TheCornflake76 It was very obvious that his whole speech was for show. He was planning to use his power as Chair of the Appropriations committee to hold and kill this bill. He was thwarted by the threat of a Discharge Resolution put together by Rep. Perry and he obviously is showing just how much he believes a kingpin he wants to be..... but I'm glad it passed. It's in the Senate's hands right now and a lot of work left to do there.
