  • How can he be well informed and still say that there were or are many languages in somalia? Bantus were the slaves brought onto Somalia during the early 1900's while somalis were in somalia more than 10,000 years ago. We are Homogenous because when you trace back the origin of the somali people, they came from the same people who setteld in the East. Even science prove that we are most homogenous people in terms of geneology wise than any other human beings on earth and that is a Fact.

  • Somali could mean a citizen of Somali

Somali could also mean the ethnic group "Somalis"

This can be a source of confusion in the debate. That's why they came up with the term Somali Bantu--to refer to citizens of Somalia who are of Bantu origin.

  • This man is odd. Whilst i agree that Somalia is a diverse nation in its own respect, he attacks other Somalis too much. In his book he discredited the great history of Sh Hassan Barsane who, instead of highlighting his struggle against the colonial forces, he called him a slave keeper who misunderstood the religion.

  • @mnboy that right somali originals need educated man like this, so they can tacle the problem imposed by people from Bush
