Snow in central Rotorua

The last time I saw it snow in Rotorua was in 2008. That time was only brief, but it left a big dump of the white stuff on Mt Ngongotaha and the hills to the East.

this is because of the global warming, so the icebergs in south pole are melting,and that melting absorbs the heat, makes the nearby place colder.
this is not a good sign, it will be even colder next year maybe.
