I loved this show. I was just the right age, i guess about 10 when the show was on Saturday mornings. And this song makes me cry when I think of hearing it at 7 and thinking one day somebody would feel that way about me. Life just isn't that simple.

I watched the Grump in 5th and 6th grade with my nieces and nephews (who were a little younger than me interestingly enough - I come from a large family). I loved Here Comes the Grump, and I had a crush on Princess Dawn. BTW Facebook has a Here Comes the Grump discussion group. Finally, thank you for subscribing.

Were you born in 58? I was: October 15th. Yes, I remember the show well and loved it. Have had fond memories of it for years. We were about the right age to appreciate budding romances between a boy and girl in a magical land. Of course almost everything about the 60's was magical to kids. I'm very grateful to have been a child then.

Thank you. I had the same impression too when I watched the show in 6th grade. It's too bad NBC cancelled the series like it did, maybe one Pricess Dawn and Terry found the Crystal Key, and disposed of the Grump, maybe they could have got married on the show.

I still think you are "implying" a relationship between Princess Dawn and Terry Dexter. I remember having that impression when I first saw this cartoon 40 years ago . . . .
