@priscianusjr I never knew it had LYRICS. Trouble is - the melody has a HELL of a RANGE. The poor girl did her best, though!

@ShellacHeaven Thank you! That's about how I felt when I found it. Now, I wonder how you'd like this one, also on Youtube: "Brincando de Cordas - Delicado" -- aside from the fact that they are a recent Brazilian group and they have a real classic style, I don't know any more about them -- but I think they are great!

@priscianusjr THANK you for that. Of course, when I put "original version" - I meant the original version of Percy Faith's recording (inferior, LATER versions of his are all over YouTube). But having never heard the original composer's version, I followed your instructions. And it's GREAT (and I left the uploader a comment saying so).
It just goes to show - ALWAYS read your pieces' comments!

@southwriter This is the original American version, and I liked it very much when I was a little boy. I agree that most of the later versions are inferior. But the actual original version, from 1950, is even better. That's the one with the composer soloing on cavaquinho accompanied by his own band. Search Youtube: "Vintage Latin Music - DELICADO by Waldyr Azevedo".

Delicado has to be in my top 5 songs of all time, maybe lower than 5. I,ve heard later versions, I was very disapointed.

@mishaloong My pleasure! There are all sorts of versions of this on YT - but nothing beats the ORIGINAL. Check out "Eleanora" too. It's in this piece's video responses - also, it's my "star piece" on my channel page. They don't make 'em like this anymore...
